Do you feel disconnected from your family at times and pass them by in the home and sit at the dinner table in a rut? Sometimes, you can get involved with your commute to work, your problems with your job or the stresses of life. It is nice to sit back and enjoy a laugh or two and maybe share some moments of childhood with your children.
Bill Bellamy is a favorite comic of mine and he is featured in the AmFam video series, Stand Up For Family. He talks about when he was little and what it was like growing up with his momma. One of my favorite videos is when he talks about the respect that kids used to have for their parents which is something you do not see very often these days.
That is what Stand Up For Family teaches me, to get your family back to spending time together and participate in daily activities, enjoying each others company and laughing a little. It is nice that these videos sponsored by American Family Insurance can be enjoyed by the whole family and not have to be watched at late night when the kids are in bed.
You simply must take a minute, gather your family and relive some of your childhood’s funny moments. You can even laugh along with Bill Bellamy.

The course is mapped through the city center along Alster, Elbchaussee and Rathausmarkt. Our viewing point was in […]
