Animated Series For Preschoolers
As I was searching for a wholesome animated series for preschoolers, I came across Peppa Pig on Nick Jr. It caught my daughter’s interest immediately and she asked me to let her watch it. Of course as any mother would do, I sat and watched along to make sure it was appropriate. I was delighted by what I watched and thoroughly enjoyed each episode. It’s a charming series about Peppa Pig and her family (Mommy Pig, Daddy Pig and her brother George) they live in the U.K. and they have the cutest little accent. The episodes are full of energy, imagination and most of all laughter (I love that they have so much fun together). Some of their favorite things to do are getting muddy in the muddy puddles, playing dress up, playing fun games and going on trips together. This is one of my daughter’s favorite shows to watch and we record it on our DVR so we can watch it at a moments notice. I think its a great show for my daughter who is 4, it teaches wonderful values such as the importance of family, friendships, having fun and having a good sense of humor. When asked my daughter’s favorite part of the show she says “I love when they laugh and snort”…of course now she likes to mimic them and snort when she laughs!
