Silky Smooth Hair
Recently on a weekend away with my girlfriends, I was exposed to the flat iron! I know, I know its 2012 and I had never used a flat iron on my hair…the horror! My hair is straight and I thought I didn’t have the need for one. Well, apparently I did and used one of my friends. I never realized I could have silky smooth hair. It was amazing and I was hooked! Barbar Hair Tools generously provided me with Barbar 2400 Ceramic-Ionic Flat Iron 1″ for review and I literally stalked my front door for the package to arrive.
Professional Flat Iron
As soon as it arrived, like a kid in a candy store I opened it, plugged it in and locked myself in the bathroom for the test. The 2400 is black and red with chrome accents and a 360 degree swivel cord with hanging hole. This is a professional flat iron used in salons and there I was the girl who had never used one before. I read the directions and got down to business. It has a digital LED temperature display and heats up in 1 minute, so it’s really important to be careful when using it…its very hot! I used it on a low setting of 180 degrees and it worked perfect. If you use it at a temperature to hot for your hair you can damage your hair. My hair is short, just above my shoulders and tends to do this annoying flip, which drives me insane. If I don’t blow dry my hair then I have to deal with my flip problem and just end up putting a hat on. My husband is tired of seeing me in a hat. So he has been very pleased with my new hair tool because I have been doing my hair everyday and it looks so nice in no time at all. I have 2 very young children and really don’t have a lot of time to spend on my hair so this flat iron has been my new best friend. I can wash my hair at night and in the morning look into the mirror and say “goodbye flip” and in less than 10 minutes my hair looks beautiful. It’s sleek, smooth, sexy and makes me feel like a whole new woman! It’s the little things in life that make the difference and having the right tools makes everything much more efficient. The Barbar 2400 is awesome and I can’t believe it took me this long to figure it out, you won’t catch me leaving home without it EVER again!

This is funny to me because I do not own a flat iron myself, either. But I have thought that I might like to have one lately! So, my favorite product on the site was definitely the flat irons. I use curling irons and clippers and scissors so I like those too!
