Calming A Stressed Dog
Fenway is a great dog, but he can be a bit on the neurotic side. Lets just say he is a little uptight when it comes to thunderstorms and whenever we leave the house. Both of these things can be really tough on us and on him. If you have ever tried calming a stressed dog, then you know it is not an easy task. It is hard to see him have such a strong reaction to either of these things, and not have the ability to cope. Having something available that takes off the edge and helps him be a bit calmer is great for him and for us.
Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.®, Dog Appeasing Pheromone, is specifically designed to help manage stress-related behavior in dogs, such as from thunderstorms, loud noises (fireworks), adjusting to a new environment, and being left alone or while traveling. This product can also help control behaviors such as excessive barking, destructive digging, chewing, and house soiling. Lastly, if you have a puppy this product can be very helpful with managing nighttime whining during the transition stage of shelter or breeder to a new home.
I really like having a product available to help manage Fenway's stressors that allows him to relax and feel more comfortable and confident at times he normally would not. We have been using this product for over 30 days now they do, however, recommend allowing at least 90 days to see the full effect. Also, be sure to follow the instructions on the product insert for detailed usage. If your dog is experiencing a medical issue, consult with your veterinarian before using Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.® products.
The holidays are right around the corner, which always means a lot of hustle and bustle. All the coming and going really affects Fenway, so it is a good time to have him starting with Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.®. I believe this will help make the holidays much calmer for him.
