My family loves yogurt and can’t go a day without eating at least one cup each. The husband and kids enjoy Greek yogurt and that is what I primarily buy. We have tried a lot of different varieties from store brand to name brands and the one we always come back to is Chobani. You could say my husband is a yogurt snob, and won’t eat anything else I bring into the house.
Chobani Yogurt Cups
Chobani was founded in 2005 by Hamdi Ulukaya who’s from Turkey. He’s a third generation Mediterranean food maker who is now the largest yogurt manufacturer in the state of New York. He wanted to bring products that we of high quality to the United States and I, for one, am glad he did!
We were sent a case of Chobani yogurt cups in different flavors and Vanilla Chocolate Chunk and Orange Vanilla Chobani Champions. The kids really enjoyed the Chobani Champions which are geared towards the younger audience. The Vanilla Chocolate Chunk’s texture reminded me of vanilla fluff with pieces of chocolate. I think this was my daughter’s favorite but being so young I just can’t tell! My son really enjoyed the Orange Vanilla flavor and wants to try the VerryBerry but for some reason I can’t find it in my store!
I think my son still preferred the regular Chobani over the Champions. He always wants the Strawberry or Blueberry and will happily eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Amongst the favorite flavors of my husband was Strawberry which he described as refreshing and Pineapple which he said made him want to eat a Pineapple Upside Down Cake! Unfortunately, we found one we didn’t care for and that was Passion fruit. My husband had some not so nice words to say about it and was not impressed by the seeds. I think passion fruit is one of those flavors that you either love or hate.
Overall my family quite enjoys Chobani brand and will continue to purchase their yogurt. If you would like to try Chobani yourself one lucky winner will receive an assorted case of both the 6oz. flavors as well as the Champions flavors.
