I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Kohl’s. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating. Well, summer is quickly coming to a close and the first day of school is less than 2 weeks away. Although my kids are not jumping for joy about school starting, they do love shopping for their school gear. I have one kid in middle school and one entering high school, so we have a lot of ground to cover. Because my middle school child has grown like a weed this summer, he literally needs just about everything, including clothes, shoes, underwear and a new backpack. My daughter, who will be starting the 9th grade has blossomed into a young woman before my eyes and none of her clothes fit properly, so she needs a new wardrobe as well. My daughter is really picky about her clothes and shoes and will only wear certain name brands, like Mudd, Sketchers, Levi’s and Lily Rose. My son is all about Nike, Converse and Levi’s, which is fine with me because I appreciate their high quality and affordability. For me, there is only one store I can shop at that carries all the brands my kids love at prices I can afford, and that is Kohl’s.
Back To School Shopping
My family is one car group, so my husband and I have gotten sharing a car down to a science! When trying to consolidate our errands, it just makes sense to go to as few places as possible. With Kohl’s, I can find virtually all of the brands my family prefers, and if I cannot find something, all I need to do is stop at customer service and they are on the phone tracking it down. If I cannot get out to my local Kohl’s, I can just hop online and shop at Kohl’s online. In order to maximize our shopping without spending a lot of cash, we love that Kohl’s offers Kohl’s cash rewards. For every $50 you spend at Kohl’s, you earn $10 in Kohl’s cash, which is sent to you via email. This can be printed and redeemed at your closet Kohl’s location or online at Kohls.com.
We are laughing around our house right now because my husband is going back to school this year, so he too needs back to school clothes and gear as well! I am having a lot of fun teasing him about which backpack he is going to buy and if he is ready for long pants or not! He is VERY particular about his clothing and will only wear a few brands, and two of his favorite brands are Croft and Barrow and Sonoma. He has really sensitive skin and the fabrics these two brands use are soft and hold up so well wash after wash. We have shirts we bought at Kohl’s from 5+ years ago that still look absolutely great. With Kohl’s, they make their customers needs their number one priority, which is apparent with everything they do. They offer name brands in a variety of styles, colors and sizes and they are sold at prices that families can fit into their budget. So, if you need to find me in the next few weeks and my husband tells you I am shopping, you will know where to find me!
