“I don’t own a fingerprint identification device, but it looks like I do.”
I love new technology. I’m one of those people who buys the latest smartphone and 2 months later is looking to buy the next new smartphone. Same holds true for any other personal devices. I would say the only item I seldom replace is my computer, and that’s because of the endless hours I spend reloading software. I have noticed that there is one thing all my devices have in common, smudges.
I have a condition. I think the medical profession calls it Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). When I see a smudge or spec of dust on any personal device I have, I get this uncontrollable urge to clean it. I simply can’t leave smudges and fingerprints on my screen. I have even gone as far as using a paper clip to scrape out any hidden particles that might be lodged between the case and the device. I know, crazy right?
With all the fingerprints on my smart phone you would think it has fingerprint identification technology. It doesn’t. Maybe I handle it wrong, or maybe it’s just part of owning any number of these devices. Regardless of why or how I get smudges on my phone and tablets that fact remains that I need to clean them off. I used to always use whatever I had available at the time to clean my screens, but sometimes using those items was a bad idea. When I’ve used my shirt sleeve, or my pants in the past it left scratches. Definitely time for something to give.
Fathers Day Review For Swipe Apparel
When I had the opportunity to review the new “Swipe” Apparel line I jumped at it. Swipe Apparel is made of a highly researched cleaning fabric. It does a wonderful job keeping my screens clean when smudges happen, and as you know, smudges happen often. The Swipe Apparel line offers Tee shirts with a patch on the sleeve made from this special fabric. They also have Ties with the inside tip made of the same cleaning fabric. It is really convenient not to have to carry around a cleaning cloth, and my screens are no longer in danger of getting scratched by rough fabrics from my regular shirts and jeans. I like the styles as well.
Father’s Day isn’t too far off. I know what I’m asking the family for this year.
