Connecting with people has been made so easy to do now days. There are so many channels of communication available allowing us to interact with others seven days a week. Just to name a few of the awesome ways of verbal collaboration is through text messaging, social networking sites, and blogging. Sears has produced a movie surrounded around blogging, which is one of the most widely held methods of online communication. You are now able to share your thoughts and views with your followers and other fellow bloggers. Sears’ new movie, Connecting Flights, shows you that whether you are in the comfort of your own home or trying to catch a connecting flight, connecting with people is easy no matter where you are. And somehow you always leave the airport with a funny or wacky store to tell your family and friends when you get home.
Connecting With People
One of my favorite flight stories to tell happened just a few years ago. I was flying back home to see my family during my Holiday Break in college. I was checked in, through security, and a trashy magazine to pass the time while I waited for my flight. A girl about my age was sitting next to me in the terminal. She leans over and says, “Good choice in reading”. I exchanged eye contact and a glance down to see she had grabbed the same magazine. We shared a chuckle and started exchanging the latest juicy celeb gossip. The longer we shared stories the more I learned that we had grown up in the same part of town, but had never crossed paths. She too was flying home to see her family. The best part is that we were even attending the same school. No matter where you are or where you are going, there is always an amazing opportunity of connecting with people. It is just one “flight” away.
This is a sponsored post, I am a Sears blogger, though all opinions are my own.
