During the summer I try to prevent the kids from having too much time to get bored, although I do like them having some "down" time. Mainly this involves them doing a low-key activity such as reading or coloring. When I do have the kids color, they like creating a "work of art” on flashy, bright paper such as Astrobrights paper. It comes in 23 colors, and it is perfect for projects at home, school or the office.
AstroBrights papers are an excellent choice of paper for creating something you want to stand out. I have used this bright, colorful paper for creating flyers for our pool! You can also use this paper for PTA meeting flyers, chore charts, summer book reports, scrapbooking, and so much more. Since this is such high quality paper, you could even create a great brochure with it. Astrobrights paper can be purchased in packages with a variety of colors, or in one solid color of your choice.
Currently, Astrobrights is running a sweepstakes called "Give a Brighter Year", which allows you to support your local elementary school. You can win a cash prize and school supplies valued at $30,000 for the school of your choice. You can find this sweepstakes by going on to Astrobright's Facebook page and clicking on "Sweepstakes".
Have you seen or do you know of a family-friendly craft project you make using Astrobrights paper? If you do, you may want to participate in the "Make Something Astrobright" design challenge. You can unleash your creativity for a chance to win $200! Enter by going through Astrobright's Facebook page and then click on "contest". This contest has four different entry weeks, each week increases in the cash prize. Once you have created your craft project upload it to the Facebook page and then share it with pictures, video, and on social media! If you do share your projects using Pinterest or Twitter, please use the hashtg #goastrobrights.
