If you are busy parents, just like us, then you will love spending quality time with your kids, whether it’s playing games together or doing some crafts. So why not leave your game at www.binguez.es/ or your online Christmas shopping for later and instead get in the Christmas spirit by doing some fun festive cooking with your kids? We have put together a couple of ideas to get you started.
Christmas Tree Bauble Cookies
Not only do these bauble cookies look wonderful hanging from your tree, but they also taste great too! Begin by making a bowlful of your favorite flavored cookie dough before rolling it out and cutting into neat circles. Once you have baked the cookies, place them on a wire rack to cool. Carefully pierce a skewer through the top of the cookies while they’re still soft and thread skinny ribbons through the holes. Once they’re cool, you can have fun with your kids decorating your Christmas cookies with frosting pens and edible sprinkles. These impressive tree decorations are sure to impress your party guests.
When everyone comes through the door, why not welcome them with a tasty little cranberry canapé? Simply make – or buy – a dozen or so filo pasty mini cups. Fill each cup with a teaspoon of Brie cheese and top with several sweet cranberries and a small piece of cooked turkey. Alternatively, spoon a teaspoon of basil-infused cream cheese into each cup and top with a small piece of flaked or smoked salmon.
