The reviewer has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free. You may have heard about the Chinese New Year or seen the large dragons which are part of the festivities. The Chinese Spring Festival, which is also called the Lunar New Year, is almost 4,000 years old. This festival is one of the most grand, celebrated and highly anticipated holidays of the traditional Chinese festivals. This is the time families in China, Vietnam, and Korea get together, much like our Christmas Day. The festival centers on the idea of a family reunion, one the entire country celebrates. Now that is one big family gathering! In fact, it is the biggest traffic jam of the entire year for many areas. It is filled with activities food, and is rich in customs. The Lunar New Year celebration actually lats for half of the entire month.
