Entertaining Toddlers
I am always in search of wholesome shows for entertaining toddlers. With all the garbage on TV these days, its a breath of fresh air to find good quality shows for my kids. I recently received Timmy Time Timmy Needs A Bath DVD from HIT Entertainment and Lionsgate. The Timmy Time stories are in a barnyard setting and do not have any verbal dialogue, just sounds the barnyard animals make. They are quite entertaining, very funny, colorful and I love the animation. The animals are clay-like figures and are so sweet.
Timmy Needs A Bath
In the story, Timmy Needs A Bath, Timmy is outside playing soccer with his friends at school when he gets all muddy. When its time to go in he can’t until he gets a bath. Reluctantly, he goes to take a bath while his friends are eating lunch (he’s sad). Just as he is getting into the wash tub his teacher has to go inside and deal with her unruly students. Instead of getting in the bath, Timmy sneaks in behind her. He sits at the table and starts to eat but ends up spraying mud all over the table and his friends food. They are all upset and Timmy gets sent back outside to get cleaned up when the bell (or coo coo clock rings). Off to the next class, Mr. Owl lets Timmy in for craft time and Timmy gets mud in the glue and on the containers. Everything gets passed around the table and soon everyone has a little mud on their projects and hands. The more Timmy moves the more mud comes off, Mr. Owl wants Timmy to clean up but its time to go to the next class. Out Timmy goes and proceeds to run from the teacher to escape getting a bath, she finally catches up to him and washes his bear to show him it isn’t so bad to take a bath. He jumps in and washes all over having so much fun!
I can relate to the teacher chasing him around to get him into the bath, being a mother of 2 little girls I go through the same thing most days. But once the kids get into the bath they have a wonderful time.
There are 4 more action packed stories including: Sticky Timmy, Tidy Timmy, Timmy Goes Camping and Timmy The Artist. You can purchase this DVD for $14.98. HIT Entertainment and Lionsgate have several more DVD options including: Angelina Ballerina, Bob the Builder and Barney. Check them out on Facebook!
