Shed Pal Pet Brush
One of my least favorite things to do is brush the dog, I had the opportunity to review the TELEBrands Shed Pal pet brush and it has made my dreaded chore into something we both look forward to. Our dog Shadow was our first baby, we got him right after we got married 8 years ago. He was also my first pet, EVER! My parents weren’t pet people so my husband wanted to change that. When picking our breed (Austrailan Shepard) the breeder told me they only shed once a year. I was happy with that because I didn’t want dog hair all over the place. Well she lied to me, he sheds ALL year and its much worse if he doesn’t get brushed. So because my husband is so busy it became my job but after the kids arrived, its sad to say but his needs got put on the back burner. So I had to put up with the extra hair but it was a necessary evil. Until now, the Shed Pal has become my new best friend, it has made brushing him so easy and quick. I have made a point to do it everyday when the kids are playing outside, I am outside watching them so its a win win. Shadow is loving all the attention, our bond is stronger than ever and he’s got some pep in his step!
Grooming Your Dog At Home
Grooming your dog at home is so important and its something I am making a priority again. Our dog is part of our family and deserves that one on one time with me just like the kids do. I think he’s forgiven me for not paying attention to him like I should have, thank goodness a dog’s love is unconditional! The Shed Pal itself is made of plastic, operates on 3 AA batteries and fits perfect in your hand. The brush part is a soft plastic with raised bristles. When you turn it on it sucks up the hair you have just released from brushing and deposits it into the. It also massages as you go, so your pet can relax and enjoy this time with you. Once you are finished you just empty the canister, talk about a mess-free brushing experience. Of course because its motorized it makes a noise so I used the brush without turning it on the first few times to get him used to it and then put it on a little at a time until he got used to it. Now as soon as he sees me pick it up he gets all excited and about knocks me over! I love the gentle massage. I have 3 dogs, one that loves to be brushed, one that tolerates it and one that hates it. They are all long hair and need to be brushed every day. I would love for this to make it more enjoyable for all my dogs.
It’s small and probably lightweight and it empties like a vacuum.

My sister raises, trains, shows Aussies and I can tell you… it is never ending. I am not sure there is a dog out there that truly only sheds once a year. Aussies are still really awesome and fantastic dogs though. ^^
Actually my fav feature is that my dog won;t see it as a brush. My dog is fantastic at the groomers but for some reason anytime I am brushing my own hair of have anything that looks like a brush or a comb, she hides.

Well, I think the favorite feature would be that the hair goes in the canister. Oh do Australian Shepards shed a lot. They were lying to you like a rug. We have one and she sheds terrible bad.
I like the bonus fabric hair removing head. I have a schnoodle and lots of hair!
I love that the hair get’s sucked up in the base! So much easier than having to clean out a brush!

My favorite feature is the hair is contained in the canister, rather than flying everywhere.
My dog sheds terribly, and the feature that is great with Shed Pal is that it removes shedding fur easily!
