Showcase Your Childs Art

Showcase Your Childs Art

Are you looking for a nice way to showcase your child’s art?  My daughter’s age 4 and 2 love to create works of art on a daily basis to display around the house.  I love their work and put it up on the fridge, windows, cabinets everywhere basically.  The problem with that was it looked messy and they were crowding each other out.  I wasn’t able to appreciate the magic of their works with so much to look at.  I was looking for a way to display their art in one area and be able to change it out quickly.  Educational Insights gave me the opportunity to review the Student Showcase Pocket Chart.

Pocket Charts For Teachers

I have always seen pocket charts for teachers in my daughter’s classroom and have had envy.  I thought it would be so nice to have something like that at home to show off all of our original artwork.  When I came across the pocket chart from Educational Insights I was blown away.  It’s not your typical plain blue pocket chart.  It’s bold, colorful and each pocket has its own frame.  It was specifically designed for artwork having 6 pockets that hold 8.5″ x 11″ paper, 3 that are horizontal and 3 are vertical.  At the top it says Our Showcase and there is a pocket for a title (in school you can put the teachers name but at home I put the kids names).  The background of the chart is a deep purple which is my 4 year old’s favorite color.

The kids were so excited to see the new pocket chart hanging up at the house and instantly wanted to put their items in the pockets.  It was very easily hung on the sturdy grommets, made of nylon and measuring 28″L x 48″H.  I love that it holds 6 because each child can have 3 pictures to display at a time.  Once we put their pictures in the pockets they were both looking at the wall in admiration.  My oldest said “oh Mommy I just love this, its beautiful” and my youngest said “pretty”!!  Each day after craft time there is a new display and when Daddy comes home they bring him over to see the new arrivals.  Everyone has been enjoying the new artwork everyday and I have received several compliments from guests that it was such a great idea.  I have never seen a pocket chart like this one in any store and am so happy to have found it at Educational Insights.  You can purchase a pocket chart like mine for $24.99.  And no, you don’t have to be a teacher to have a pocket chart!  Check them out on Facebook for more product information.
