Trying to get kids to brush their teeth is hard enough, but when you add “gross” (as my son says) flavors like bubble gum or bubble mint, or “spicy” flavors like wintergreen or peppermint, it makes it almost impossible. We’ve tried almost every kids toothpaste on the market, and hadn’t found one that my son liked – until now! I’ve been aware of Tom’s of Maine’s products, but I think I’ve only tried their deodorant, not their toothpastes. Tom’s of Maine has several kids toothpastes, but we decided to try out their Silly Strawberry flavor. My son loved it! It’s flavored with real strawberry extract, so it doesn’t taste artificial or spicy. Also, it’s made of all-natural ingredients (which means no artificial sweeteners or dyes), so I know that it’s better for my son! It’s available in a fluoride or no-fluoride version, which is really great, because many parents don’t want their children having additional fluoride.
I’m excited to have found a toothpaste that my son actually likes and that’s good for him! We’re using Tom’s Silly Strawberry from now on in our house as part of our nightly bedtime routine, so why don’t you try making it part of yours? On March 14thEST, Tom’s of Maine will be hosting Silly Strawberry Story Hour live. Olympic medal winner Kristi Yamaguchi will be live, reading her new children’s book,It’s A Big World, Little Pig.
