The Aria Scale From FitBit Is An Essential Part Of Your Fitness Program

FitBit Aria
I have been a yo-yo dieter for most of my adult life. I have had periods where I was wearing single digit sizes and I have sadly worn high double digits as well. I just turned 50 a few months ago, so of course I can’t lose weight like I could 30 years ago. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to lose weight like we could when we were in our 20’s or even our 30’s? Well, guess what? That is not going to happen so instead of waiting for a miracle pill to be developed, we need to do some hard work. I have been on a healthy food program for about 3-4 months now and I have lost about a pound a week and I have lost 16 pounds so far.  I have not been able to exercise as I tore two ligaments in my right foot and ankle the day before Thanksgiving. I was finally relieved of my cast I have been wearing for the past 8 weeks and I can exercise in 2-3 weeks and I am so excited!  There is only one thing I am missing to round out my weight loss program and that is a good scale. If you do not have an accurate measure of your weight, how can you keep track of your results? The Aria scale from FitBit is just the tool that I needed to round out my weight loss regimen.

An Essential Part Of Your Fitness Program

The scale from FitBit is by far the coolest thing I have ever seen! This is not your average scale that is for sure. The is a sleek and stylishly designed scale that has Wi-Fi capabilities so you can upload all of your information into an account you create automatically. How cool is that? I am not the best at remembering where I leave things and when I write down my weight from week to week, half of the time I lose it. I love that I just step up on the FitBit Aria and my weight is recorded for me. In addition to recording your weight, the scale can also measure and record your BMI and body fat, which are both important numbers to know. With all three of these features  I think the Aria is an essential part of your fitness program.  If you are lucky enough to have your family working with you to lose weight, the Aria can keep track of up to 8 different profiles. Not only can you sync your Aria to your computer, but you can also do so with your smart phone. You can access your account to set goals, earn badges, compete with family or friends and even see graph of your progress.

The Aria was very easy to set up as all you do is download the software and link your scale to your home’s Wi-Fi. The next time you step on the scale, the Aria already knows it is you and is ready to record your information for that day. I just love how nice it is that I don’t need to think about remembering and recording a bunch of numbers, or even transferring them to a computer program. Because most of us don’t have access to equipment that can measure your BMI and fat percentage, this is a priceless feature on the Aria. The only two places I have ever been able to have those two items measured was at my doctor and the gym.  Once you have your Aria at home, you aren’t paying any doctor fees, co-pays or gym fees. So far, my husband and daughter are using the Aria with me and we just love it.  As a matter of fact, I had forgotten to take a picture of our Aria and since Caitlin needed to weigh herself, she obliged me with the picture. She was really excited because she has lost 10 pounds in 4 weeks and has 10 more to go.  My husband asked that I not release any of his top secret weight loss information!  You can purchase the Aria online at FitBit for $129.95 in your choice of white or black.  In addition to the Aria, you can also purchase several versions of the FitBit Activity Tracker.  All of the FitBit products come with a 30-day money back guarantee as well as a 365 day limited warranty.
